Thanks to new toll roads the areas North of Austin are now more convenient than ever. Many of the small towns that sit north of Austin have their own unique style and flavor that mixes causal with country. Most of these areas are part of Williamson County, one of the fastest growing Texas. Towns in this area include:

 

Round Rock: Growth is on the rise, and new home construction is all around. As the city grows there are more employment opportunities available than ever before. Many who work for Austin’s major employers in the north of the city find living in Round Rock is ideal. Located north of Austin on both sides of I-35, it is convenient to many of the new toll roads.

 

Cedar Park/Leander: Cedar Park/Leander is located 16 miles northwest of Austin. In 2008, it was the seventh-fastest growing city in the US. The city prides itself on their beautiful parks that provide amenities such as sports fields, hike and bike trails, Skate Park, disc golf course, playgrounds, swimming pools, and amphitheater. The residents also enjoy a beautiful Hill Country Golf Course, a fully equipped library and a quality live theater.

 

Pflugerville: Pflugerville is a rapidly growing city that is home to over 35,000 residents. The city prides itself on its wonderful youth sports organizations, beautiful parks, recreational lake, jogging trail, hike and bike trails, two pools, recreational center and well-equipped library. To ensure a high quality of life, many of Pflugerville’s residents are very active in citizen groups and organizations.
